We’re so glad to have you in Chicago this fall, which is a spectacular time of year to see everything America’s greatest city has to offer now that another busy summer is behind us.
There’s no shortage of seasonal attractions to see while you’re here.
From vibrant cultural celebrations for Dia de Los Muertos, to terrifying haunted houses and other thrilling Halloween activities for Chicagoans and visitors of all ages, we have tons in store for you to enjoy. For a complete list, see the Fall Events Guide (pg. 26 to 29).
Though the biggest summer festivals have come and gone, music remains alive and well in Chicago no matter the season, as it is a critical part of our city’s cultural identity. This issue’s Cover Story (pg. 8 to 13) features an interview with Jeff Tweedy of Wilco — one of Chicago’s hometown indie rock icons — as well as a deep dive into our diverse and thriving music scene and a rundown of our hottest venues for live music.
